Charles Cox is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in private practice. As an interactive therapist, Mr. Cox’s therapeutic approach is to provide practical support and feedback to help clients cope effectively with the challenges of their personal lives. A personalized approach is adapted to each client. Mr. Cox’s clinical experiences have allowed him to work in a range of clinical settings and with diverse people with diverse needs.
Mr. Cox specializes in evaluations for immigration proceedings, such as Extreme Hardship (Waivers, Provisional Waivers, and Cancellation of Removal), Violence Against Women Act (VAWA), U-Visas, and Asylum. Mr. Cox has received training from Physicians for Human Rights and is registered on Physicians for Human Rights mental health panel. Mr. Cox, has attended specialized training at the Weill Cornell Asylum clinic, Columbia University and Georgetown University Asylum clinic. Mr. Cox also a provider of the NYS courts panel and has extensive history in providing written court repots on behalf of his clients.
